1. Drink plenty of water before and after your massage to enhance the benefits of your treatment.
    2. Take a shower or bathe before the massage. Being clean is important because the skin will be free of surface dirt and cosmetics (oils, lotions, makeup, etc.) and also because feeling clean may reinforce your confidence and have a calming effect. Also do not wear excessive jewelry when going for the massage.
    3. Avoid the consumption of alcohol prior to your massage, body treatment, or steam.
    4. Don't eat for at least an hour before or after your massage.
    5. Allow your mind to calm down before your treatment.
    6. You generally remove your clothes for massage, but you are draped with sheets or large towels.
    7. Relax. Take slow, deep breaths before your treatment begins. Envision every muscle in your body relaxing.
    8. Communicate with your therapist.  Feel free to let your therapist know on the temperature or amount of pressure you feel comfortable with.
    9. The therapist usually follows your lead, let your therapist know if you want to talk or not, as you prefer.
    10. When the treatment is over, take time to slowly reintegrate, rather than rushing off.

We encourage you to arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your service. Arriving late will shorten your treatment. Keep in mind that your treatment will end on time as a courtesy to the next client.

If you are unable to make your appointment, we appreciate and enforce a 24-hour cancellation to avoid full charge.
